REIKI
Reiki is a form of spiritual energy healing where a practitioner channels universal life force energy to the recipient by placing their hands on or near the body, with the goal of restoring balance to the physical, emotional, and spiritual body. Reiki can be channeled to help balance the chakras (energy centers within the body), cleanse the energetic aura, ease physical tension or discomfort, reduce stress and anxiety, and help support the body in its healing process on all levels. Reiki is safe and effective for people of all ages.

Sound Healing
Sound healing is a form of meditation that utilizes sound frequencies to help us drop into a deeper meditative state. Using instruments such as crystal singing bowls, gongs, and chimes, sound healers “bathe” participants in sound waves, and through a process called entrainment, the vibrations emitted by the instruments influence the brain waves to go from an active to a more relaxed state.

My yoga journey began as a way to get in shape. At the time, I was struggling to love and accept myself, and striving to be “perfect” in every way possible. Yoga came into my life just when I needed it most and it taught me to love and care for myself authentically. Yoga is so much more than a way to get fit, and has given me more than I ever imagined possible. I’m honored to be able to share the gift of yoga with others!
During my 200-hour training, I learned the proper alignment, benefits, and risk factors for many foundational postures, gained an understanding of human anatomy, and studied yoga history and philosophy while deepening my personal practice.
My teaching style incorporates traditional sun salutations with standing postures, stretching, breath awareness, and music, culminating in a relaxing, meditative savasana. In my classes, I focus on creating an alignment-based sequence that is accessible for all levels, while being both invigorating and dynamic. I encourage my students to cultivate a mind-body-spirit connection through asana, breath, and meditation, and challenge them to be fully present on the mat by tuning into their bodies, so that they can learn to practice according to how they feel in the moment.

Inspired by my own struggle with anxiety, which ultimately helped me discover my passion for health and wellness, I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and graduated from their program as a Certified Health Coach in 2013.
As an Anxiety Management Coach, I help my clients pinpoint the root cause of their anxiety and equip them with tools and practices to overcome it so that they can live a life that they love day-in and day-out. Approaching anxiety management holistically, I look at the way in which all areas of a person’s life are connected and how they each ultimately impact their overall wellbeing.
Managing your anxiety is a process and something that you have to commit yourself to every single day. I have 3 different offerings for anyone looking to find where their anxiety is coming from and manage it holistically.
